Sharing the love of Christ through our love for the outdoors.

Who We Are

Woods & Water Outdoors is a Christian non-profit (501c3) ministry for the whole family based in Bell County, Texas. Our mission is to show others the love of Christ through our love for the outdoors.

We are evangelical and non-denominational. We believe that God gave us a love for the outdoors as a missional resource - to build real, lasting friendships with other people who enjoy the woods, lakes, and rivers just like we do, but have yet to experience the life-changing love of Christ..

“And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him-a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” - Ecclesiastes 4:12 ESV

“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” - 2 Timothy 2:2 ESV

Monthly Outdoor Activities

Each month, W&W participates in an outdoor activity doing what we love - hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, camping, etc. Our goal is to build new relationships in the process. Most of these activities are open to the whole family, but occasionally we will have an event specifically for men or women.

Campfire Meetings

Every other Thursday of the month, W&W hosts our Campfire Meetings. These are small group Bible studies for the whole family. We eat, have an outdoor related presentation by a local “expert”, and participate in a Bible study that’s relevant to our daily lives.

4:12 Groups

These are super small groups made up of two to three men or two to three women. 4:12 Groups are named after Ecclesiastes 4:12 which states: “And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him - a threefold cord is not quickly broken”. The truth is, the Christian life was never meant to be experienced alone. We have to have each other’s backs. 4:12 Groups provide encouragement, accountability, and spiritual insight.
